Confirm access

Make sure the entry instructions are current. If a concierge, lockbox, alarm, parking restriction, or elevator booking is involved, include those details before the visit.

Put away personal items

Clear loose items from the surfaces and floors you want cleaned. Store medication, documents, cash, jewelry, and other valuables.

Note your priorities

Use the booking notes for anything the cleaner should know, including rooms that need extra attention or areas that should not be entered. Keep the list within the service you booked so the cleaner can plan the visit accurately.

Plan for pets

Tell HomeKeep about pets in the home. Keep them in a safe room or arrange for them to be out during the visit if they may be stressed by equipment, open doors, or a new person.

Check the booking

Before the scheduled date, review the address, date, access notes, and selected service in your HomeKeep account. Contact support if anything important has changed.
